Getting to Zanzibar is hassle-free, with direct international flights landing at Zanzibar airport. Alternatively, you can fly to Dar es Salaam and take a short 15-minute flight to Zanzibar or opt for a scenic ferry ride to the island.
For a worry-free trip, certain vaccinations are recommended, including hepatitis (A and B), typhoid, cholera, yellow fever (with proof if coming from an affected country), rabies, meningitis, and tetanus.
